Clone track configuration
The clone class ran the first race on the full pro track last week. There was talk that clones would like to run the classic track, or a combination of the two tracks at times. I asked clone racers to email me with their preferred track and preferred weight for the class.
In the past week, I've heard from just two.
Kris built a Facebook page, and we'd dig it if you'd check it out. Click the link, or search on Facebook for JET Karting.
[update] Just found out how to change the url for the page to www.facebook.com/jetkarting
Go to www.facebook.com/usernames to do this for your account.
Points Race Daily Schedule
At the end of last season, looking through attendance records as well as comments from racers, we saw 'early morning practice' loosing popularity. This season will have an increased Group Practice time, with a slightly earlier start time.
Sr Supercan
I have heard interest through the winter in the Sr. Supercan class. I'd love to have it strong here again. If you are interested in running it this summer, I'll make you a really good deal on a season pass. Email me, and we'll work it out. We need to have at least 3 karts for a class, but would like to have many more.
Don't wait. Now is the time to help me organize this class for 2010!
First Race - April 10
We had our schedule posted, but our first race conflicted with the Route 66 first race. Since we would like to schedule around the Route 66 Series, we have moved opening race to the 10th of April.
Halloween Gran Prix
Our annual Halloween Gran Prix is on Oct 31 this year. With the full compliment of 30 lap mains and 100 lap races, everyone should be able to finish the season with some fun. Remember that the grid is set by order of signup.

Track Records!
This weekend was a fast one, as we had two drivers set a track records. Congratulations to Thayne Chapin for setting a new Rookie record, and Christian Vega for setting a new record in Spec racer.
We would also like to congratulate Rick Apichairuk for setting a TAG Masters track record at 61 Kartway during the Route 66 race there. Rick has been contracting tuning services with us here at JET Karting for the Route 66 series, and we are proud to be a part of his success.
